After some unsuccessful phone-trials, a few minutes ago, I managed to contact Fr. Stefan Mandl - by cell phone - at his Farview Mission-Parish. He shortly explained – still a bit excited - that yesterday early morning (about 1 a. m.) he had received an urgent “help-,help call “ from a neighboring shopkeeper, where some robbers were about to break in. He personally went quickly for helping his neighbor but the robbers attacked Fr. Stefan, too, hitting him on the head and arm. He needed some medical attention at the clinic. The good news is that he assured me that he is better and up and can drive again, and in addition, he promised me to be more careful in future. Nevertheless, he also indicated that he himself will still write a more detailed e-mail report in order to share his unfortunate and simultaneously prettily fortunate experience.

Wishing Fr. Stefan a speedy and full recovery, and to all of you, dear Friends, a grace-filled Holy week and the continuous protection of the Risen Lord Jesus, wherever you may be at present.
